Resources
« on: April 22, 2011, 10:45:14 AM »
While searching the internet for helpful resources, I stummbled upon some websites that seem quite great that I figured I would share

http://jhsenglipediaproject.com/default.aspx - has example lesson plans for ES through HS, warm ups, phonics, and (if you just get bored) a bunch of blogs about Japan

http://www.sayama-alt.com/FREE-TEACHING-RESOURCES.php  - has a lot of nice example lesson plans, activities and flash cards for ES and JHS

http://www.eschoolnews.com/2011/02/18/ten-great-sources-of-free-teacher-resources/ - not entirely for ESL, or even Japan, but a lot of the links mentioned are really interesting and I've been going through a few of them just for my own sake
the links range from time saving ideas, worksheets, and lesson plans, to the library of congress, NASA for educators, and a free RSS feed of new learning materials
my favorite thing from it so far has been http://www.thinkfinity.org/ which has a really cool "today in history" calander and stories that are just interesting to read

I know it is a fault with the site, but I LOVE that the page for resources is blank :D

Reminds me of the uncyclopedia page on nihilism...
