Volunteers for International Day
« on: November 02, 2011, 01:54:09 PM »
My school (Koma HS) is having an International Day in December.

Date: Tuesday, December 20th
Time: 4-6 p.m.
Where: Koma High School, Minami-Alps-shi

We need 5 ALTs to come for two hours after school and give a small presentation about something from their native country (sports, events, holidays, traditions, culture, food, ANYTHING). You can bring photos or props or whatever you want.
There will be about 30-40 students.

My info sheet: "You will be present at the event and do games with the students. " So it seems it's not just about your presentations, but also games with which you join in.

"We will pay you ¥3000 and exportation fee." (Travel expenses?)

I'll speak with David, but this should be easy for us since we can just walk over when our classes end

oooh I remember doing this last year. I recommend trying to get the Minami-Alps alts to come.  It'll be easier to get your five alts that way.

Just wanted to let you know that David probably can't do it, because I messed up my days, Tuesday are when he doesn't get out till 5:30, but he will still ask.
I on the other hand normally get out at 4:10 and classes finish at 3:25, so it'll be quite easy
