Christmas Card Phrases
« on: December 01, 2011, 10:22:38 AM »
If you're planning on making Christmas Cards with your students this year, I've translated some common English Christmas greetings into Japanese.  Feel free to use them to help your students understand the meanings behind the English phrases. I've also attached a printable list.

Traditional Christmas Greetings
伝統的なクリスマスのあいさつ

☆ May the peace and joy of the holiday season be with you throughout the coming year.
クリスマスの休みの平和と喜びが新年にあなたに訪れますように。
☆ Merry Christmas and best wishes for a Happy New Year
よいクリスマスと新年を迎えられますように。
☆ Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
メリークリスマスそしてお正月おめでとうございます。
☆ Peace on Earth
世界平和を願います。
☆ Peace, good will and happiness for you at Christmas and always.
平和・善意・幸せ・がクリスマスそしていつもあなたに来ますように。
☆ Warmest thoughts and best wishes for a wonderful Holiday and a Happy New Year.
すばらしいクリスマスとお正月が心から迎えられますように。
☆ Merry Christmas!
クリスマスおめでとうございます!
明日は明日の風が吹く。
