I guess yeti aint doing a shosenkyo trip this year? Ive never actually been, think I should have a look some day.

When is the best time to go there? Was it beginning of October? Or November? Its around about now right? But I cant recall....

Leaves will peak in another 7-9 days, I think, depending on how cold it gets.---aim for Nov 3-4 at shosenkyo.  Here's the thing, they'll peak, and then you'll get 2 days of HEAVY rain, and they'll be gone.  Happens every year.

I went the first weekend of November last year. It was nice, but they hadn't peaked yet. They peaked Thursday of that week apparently... and then Friday there was a rainstorm. Haha.

But the year before we had great timing and there hadn't been any rain before we went.
