kose gym
« on: December 04, 2012, 02:58:32 PM »
Just posting some info for people who might find themselves in a simillar situation.

Firstly, the gym is awesome!  It has a lot of new stuff and only costs around 350 (first time 500)

You can take a bus to the park from the 8th bus stop on the south side of the station (near starbucks)

The bus times are really crappy but here they are. (350 per trip)

If you go to the north budokan that's where the gym is.  It's pretty hard to get back on Sat and Sun but there is another bus a few minutes walk from the place. You have to watch the time though, Like I went at 10:30 but came back at 2:30. It takes half an hour to get there so it's about like 3 hours of being there which could suck. THe alternative is coming home as soon as you get there or taking a taxi back (2,000 yen). As it's about 30 mins on the bus I don't think you could cycle but maybe you could.

It's not a bad cycle from Kofu station, takes me about 20 minutes. I kinda look at it as extra cardio!

You can take Heiwa dori all the way down, go under route 20, pass Macdonalds, and you'll see some signs.

The gym is alright...it can get a little crowded at night though but 300 isn't so bad right!??!

Its only 6km... so 18km an hour would get you there in 20 minutes... Not that fast.
