Taxes
« on: January 27, 2013, 08:13:41 PM »
Hey everyone.  There used to be a thread on here with tax info and instructions.  I searched for the thread but couldn't find it.
If someone could let me know what it's called or provide a link, I'd appreciate it.  Thanks!

THIS X 100

Sorry I can't help too much but at the city office there is a tax department who will gladly tell you how much you owe and get you all sorted out with how to pay. They go out of their way for your money (had to drop 15 mon last week for back taxes or something )

Actually, my Japanese taxes are deducted by my company automatically so I'm not really worried about paying anything.  I just need to find the forum so that I can look up last year's exchange rate and check what the form numbers are again.  And yes... Fuck taxes.

sounds like you are still in that time period where you are not yet privileged (sp?) enough to pay the wonderful residence tax.  you should look forward to it.

I died a little bit on the inside.  I really do have to find a better job next year.  Sorry Nash

No, I pay it.

I work for a Japanese corporation though so it's deducted automatically along with rent and all that other stuff automatically from my paycheck.
