Uh, what would be the "nearest station" that I'd be able to get dropped off at during the dinner break? Lemme check trains leaving from Kiyosato.

Actually, on second thought... it'd really be better for me to Skype it.  I know it's lamer than playing live, but this way I'd get to play longer, and I won't have to worry about inconveniencing anyone for a ride.  Besides, I'm not very excited about the thought of missing a train home if I wanted to eat dinner before 11PM.  I'd also prefer not to get home too late so I can be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed Monday morning at work.

JD - Can you e-mail or PM me so we can work out details? My Skype name is Qphelia.
"Embiggen" is a perfectly cromulent word.

OK!!!  D&D is on for Sunday!  I won't be going to Gunma ken as it's out of the budget.  1 o'clock, be there or be a quadrilateral shape whose sides are all the same length and all angles are 90 degrees.

***IMPORTANT***

D&D is ON for Sunday the 28th.  I'm probably gonna go to Tokyo 2 weeks after that instead.  PS congrats on killing 17 pirates last time-  MUCH better than the previous time you encountered them-eh?  Ah and once again I'll tell you all, DONT DIE (since the previous DONT DIE message was intended for 3 boss fights, and you guys only had time for one, the previous DONT DIE message is now being carried over into this next session.) Think ya can handle it? 8-)

just an update for the next session--  this weekend (the 11th) is no go, tyler and renee are out, and I will probably be in tokyo anyway.   the weekend after that (the 18th)  may also be a no go, not sure....renee well be out, and depending on if I go to the tokyo art fair or not (or anyone else for that matter) it might turn into a no go as well.

Long story short= 11th is no, 18th is maybe, and 25th is definite.

OK the 18th is approaching, I've had a request to move the game to Friday or Saturday night this week in order to play.  Renee will not be able to make it, but if there are 3 people, I can work with that.  All in favor of playing on Friday or Saturday please get back to me with an answer as soon as you can so i can decide.  :-D

Sadly I lack the time to cook something before gaming, so ... 7-11 / am-pm for food I think?

Cool. Hope this works out for everyone.
We can either try to finish up early for a change, or I'll just bail for the last bit and you can say "hi" to Mr. Bojangles for me...

OK, Since everyone seemed to like getting home at a much earlier hour, I think we'll stick with the 11:00 start time from now on.  What do you think?  Oh, and this weekend will be the last weekend we play this year, I'll be in America until January after that.  When I get back in early Jan. we might organize a game if everyone is here.

Because I'm going into D&D withdrawals and I think everyone is back now...  How about a game this weekend?  I know JD just got back and wants to get settled back in so DMing is not on his list of priorities.  Therefore, I offer my humble services as a newbie DM.

Here's the setup...

Allowed races:
all standard races +
kenku (crow-like race that can mimic sound)
grippli (little frog people that can climb)
Raptoran (humanoids that gain the ability to fly)
Kobold (improved to be on par with other races)
Litorian (lion-like race with good dex)
Tortle (Turtle race with built in ntural armor)
Bhuka (goblinoid race from the desert)
Lupine (Canine race with lycanthropic heritage)

Any other race you want would have to have a backstory to justify its existence.

Allowed classes
all standard classes +
duskblade (offensive magic and melee)
dread necromancer (name says what it is)
swashbuckler
scout
beguiler
spellthief (Sneak attack steals spells from caster)
warlock (demonic caster)
hexblade( melee with curses)
shugenja (elemental mage)
Knight (defensive melee)
archivist (intelligence based divine caster)
Favored Soul (spontaneous divine caster)

I'll give you more info once we get there.

Oh, if no one wants to game this weekend, thats cool too, just keep character ideas and such on the back burner.

If people are in, I call for the 11:00 starting time on Sunday.

Yay or nay please.

Almost forgot:
Starting at level 2

Also, we will roll up characters when we get there.  If you want to think ahead, it will be a 28 pt buy.

I`ll explain the concept of the world when everyone is there.

Hey everybody,

After a first session that left one party member dead and the others far on the road to evil, I have decided to scrap that campaign and start over. Don't worry, your characters can be used in the new campaign.  However, a new story is being created as we speak.

I would like some kind of backstory for your characters.  There are two questions I want you to answer.

Why are you evil?
What do you seek?  (i.e. power, wealth, revenge, booty)

Just pm me the info.

Also, if possible could we change the date of the session on the 3rd to the 2nd.  Got plans.

Thanks

I wanna ask you guys where exactly we left off in my campain... It's been about a month since we last played so I can't remember that clearly.  I know that you guys are in desert country somewhere, and that you've visited a human city and a slaad city.  You attempted to go though the Pyramid but Renee got stoned.  Then you bought a trident for Poe and finally tracked down Scorpio out in the desert and killed it.  Paul absorbed it's power if I remember right.  Here's what I DON'T remember.
A.  What level are you all currently at/did you all level up at the end of the last game?
B.  Are you still at the scene of the Star battle or did you make it back to a town?
C.  Where is the airship right now?
D.  Where is Poe right now?
E.  How long have you been gone from the ship?
F.  What were the group's intentions after the Star battle?

If you guys could help me remember some if this stuff and anything else I may have forgotten, that'd be great.  Also, even if someone else has already answered one of the questions above, please answer anyway to just confirm that what they said was right.  The sooner the better-I can plan a little faster and better if I know this stuff in advance.

The following is how I remember things from where we left off:
A: Everyone is currently at lvl 13, me at 12. we did not quite level up at the end of last game, we were about 1000xp short if I remember correctly.
B: I think you said we went back (as its a safe zone), not too sure though.
C: Airship is docked somewhere in the town, 'camoflage mods' being installed (again only 90% sure).
D: Left Poe behind with the Airship, Batto and Batto's chum.
E: About 2 weeks now? Some of that time we wandered around town, fought Blue dragon thing, Pyramid, Town again, Scorpio, Town.
F: Find an easy, reliable way to repeatedly get to The Pyramid (and back again), and also proceed to Aquarius so that we can kick its overpowered butt and David can dive into the glowy star bits and get the only remaining Constelation Weapon. Probably some shooping along the way, maybe Bounty Hunting which was really really good fun, and a pub visit for a tasty Rat Pie.

David's joke: "What is a Goliaths favorite music and food?"
...
"Rock and Roll"
