What'll you guys do for Burn awards for non-YETI people or guests? or people you don't know that well? I had considered trying a similar path with the Burn Awards during my tenure as Prez but thought it would be far too difficult to whip up something good for every attendee, and considering the "everyone gets a joke award" angle, it would be pretty counter to your purposes to have to leave anyone out.

Yeah, those fringe people are tough to account for. We have an idea about how we'll do it, but can't reveal how at the moment.

Well, all ALTs are jokes so they can get an award for that. JOKE!! Don't kill me!

Count me in BTW. Thanks
Wouldn't it be nice, to get on with my neighbours!

Perhaps it involves actual burning...?

If anybody wants to crash at my place after the party, they are more than welcome to.
I live in Enzan so it's a fairly cheap shared taxi home.
I think I can comfortably put up 7 people! If you can bring your own bedding, that would be awesome  :-)

Katherine Vos and I are going to RSVP for this event.  Although I might be a few minutes late because my school has an open house that day.

Hey everyone!
Good to see more people are getting their RSVPs for the party.

This is a reminder that the deadline to RSVP is in two days! We need them by Saturday, November 30th at 9PM. We'll be calling the restaurant at that time to give them our numbers (to prepare the deliciousness for us). If you RSVP on Facebook, please write a comment on the page, as simply clicking Going isn't enough.

Also, if you need to cancel your RSVP, please do so by the November 30 deadline. Those who cancel after that will have to pay unless there are others to take your place (members ï¿¥1200, nonmembers ï¿¥1500 for cancellation). Thank you for your understanding.

A little over a week left until the party! Hope you're all getting excited :)

I feel I should probably apologize for my horrible  karaoke

I am pretty sure I sounded like a dying cat.

I should also apologize for the multiple questions and repeated conversations. I have to stay away from alcohol

How was Jinbee as a venue? How did the Burn Awards go? And where are the embarrassing photos? Make with the goods, people!

Jinbee was great. I thought the food would just never stop coming!
I got awarded the most likely to become Japanese which I guess I'll keep getting until I decide actually become Japanese.
Wouldn't it be nice, to get on with my neighbours!

Ha ha ha! No worries. A lot of us have had nights like this! I know I certainly have. Everyone was happy to look out for you as this is what friends are for right?

Jinbee worked really well I feel. As Jotham said, the food was plentiful. IMO, it was a good venue and everything went reasonable smoothly.
The burn awards went well I feel. Wagner rocked the mic on that one. Obviously others would have to chime in on that one.

Hi everyone!
Thank you all for coming to a very successful winter party. It was great to see everyone including some new faces and some old faces from outside of the ken too.
I hope you all enjoyed the food, the company, the burn awards and the prizes. The record attendance of 66, far exceeded our plans and without you, it wouldn't have been the blast that it was.
I trust that none of you went home hungry!
Also, I had a great time at L-river too. I've never seen so many people in there before.  :-o
Thanks to everyone who helped out here and there with the little things on the night too and the special burn awards

I would also like to give a special thanks to Amanda, Wagner, Sara and Katrina who helped with the RSVPs, Burn awards, prize buying, decoration and drinks menu translation.
